Tina Freeth

Biography



Tina Freeth is a published British Chinese author of short fiction, memoir and children's books. Tina also writes short films and was shortlisted for the B3 Media Digishorts scheme in 2010 and the Screen West Midlands Digishorts scheme in 2009. She won the BBC Bites competition for her short film 'Lychees and Bingo Balls' and her ten minute play won the SCRIPT Beijing Map Games compeition in 2008. Tina is freelance, giving talks and workshops in schools and libraries. She also does storytelling with young children during the Chinese New Year. Tina was co-tutor at the Arvon Centre at Lumb Bank. She has recently been added to the website www.visiblechinese.com - a showcase for the top Chinese achievers in the UK.
