Applications for 2013
In 2013 The National Academy of Writing will be running an eight-month course at London's Free Word centre. A maximum of twelve writers will join the Academy for the course. NAW Patrons will visit each of the courses.
For 2013 NAW has generously been awarded a grant by News International, publisher of the Times Literary Supplement, to support our unique approach to helping writers improve their work. The grant is distributed across the course to keep the fee as low as possible.
The 2013 course starts on Wednesday 6th March 2013. The fee, included the sponsored reduction, is £4000.
Writers can apply by sending 5000 words of any genre of narrative prose (fiction or non-fiction) to rena@thenationalacademyofwriting.org.uk
The submission should be a Word or PDF document and please include your name and the title of the piece in the email subject line.
Course Co-ordinator Rena Brannan welcomes enquiries about the course.
We will acknowledge receipt of all applications.
